Nice Story

I had a wedding in Oshawa yesterday at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery. It was a last minute booking. A woman who was one of the guests approached me at one point and was highly complimentary of my playing. She enquired if I was somehow prominent in the community or musical circles to which I replied, "No". She said she was "flabbergasted" that that wasn't so, and that my playing was impeccable. It was probably one of the nicest compliments I have received for my playing. And, she thought I was 20 years old! Though she was a fair bit older than me, I still took that as a great compliment as well. :D
